TEXT: John 23:17-21(NKJV)
STUDY: Sin is the destructive element that has separated man from God.
Rom. 3:23 states clearly, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Our text today begins with the assurance that God sent His Son into the world not to condemn sinners but that through Him they might be saved from eternal death. This is indeed the good news – the essence of Jesus redemptive work.
You are no longer condemned. Believing in God’s finished work of grace through Christ exempts a man from condemnation.
Jesus is the light of the world. All who practise evil hate the light because it exposes their evil deeds. Children of God represent Jesus as the light of the world in their various locations of residence and business. Are you the light in your place of work or residence? do people know as somebody who speaks the truth? Do people see Jesus? Please go and be the light of the world today.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for the gift of salvation; enable me to shine for Jesus in whatever I do.Amen.
